The wheel don't have any problems with other games but it causes PU to crash when you start a race. You can see and select it in the controller list and you can assign the axis and buttons. No problem here apart of the lag in the menu but when you start a race after the loading screen you crash to the desktop with an error. The wheel is not visible if logitech gaming software is not started.
I try to remove the device in control panel and after that not let windows install any drivers and install Logitech soft first. I try removing mouse, keyboard and webcam it didn't help.

I don't believe your G29 causes the crashes. Rather it looks like a general compatibility issue. Does the game work with your wheel disconnected?

Yes it works fine with a keyboard. I even try it with a flight stick just for fun. The wheel can be attached and the game will start but as long as one button or axis is assigned to the wheel the game will crash.

Hmm ... have you tried this patch?

Otherwise it's a configuration problem.

This patch contains even further fixes. The original 3.5enh and 3.5nocd are old and no longer recommended to use.

Hello gtm. I also have the G29 and have no problems running PU and HS. I suspect the issue may be with the Degree of Rotation setting. Try using 180. Also, under Special Game Settings, Allow Game to Adjust Settings should be enabled.

I can't see how a steering angle could affect this but i try it and it didn't. However i can't locate "Special Game Settings" and "Allow Game to Adjust Settings" can you give me a pointer.
