My opinion is a team can be started by two people, a captain and deputy, what do you think?

Three of course ...

When three of hungarians are forming a team, it is ABSOLUTELY sure, they won't agree much of their issues Mr. Green

(just look at the dialog in the Oscar winning movie: The English Patient Very Happy)

So, because of the fact, i'm here the only hun, don't be afraid buddies, just start forming your teams with three at least Very Happy

It would seem to me that team is by definition more than one *person*.
Beyond that the advantages / disadvantages of Team size would be
of little consequence, points average vs points total for instance.
In my opinion limiting team size to a minimum may well discourage
the formation of new teams.
I also would like to second [HU]Obi 's Clarion Call -----
Get Together - Buddy Up - Find A Tie To Bind Very Happy
The opportunities for fun, precious memories and personal growth are waiting for YOU!

I am far too new here to say for sure but it is my belief that many of
the venerable Teams we see here today started as very small clubs
indeed.
And taking a tangent from the last two points - I find myself
wondering at the possibility of an 'automatic' club. I believe it would be
great fun and a valuable tool to have [IPL] listed as a Team.
The statistical analysis of this undertaking is beyond me.
I do however think that in pondering this we may be able to
level the field a bit for some of the larger teams. Inactive members
make seeing whats actually happening in Team Stats difficult.
I am wandering dangerously off-topic here and will close with the
assurance that I will always treat all Team Members old and new
with Respect and Joy.

Clearly the 3 vote has won - as I had already programmed for 2 I guess I got a bit more to do......lol

Just a quick note for those using country flags, these are not counted as teams, just a loose connection of fellow countrymen and as such a new flag may be added for just one person.

in a word no - but a team flag may be based on a country flag like RL & GER, where possible country flags are as their two letter country code, eg UK US DK BR - I added BR because this is an issue as there is a team [BR] so currently they share flag with country flag users.

So there will be some issues that need sorting out.

When I was building the Team Stats page, I had to address this question on my own. I basically counted any player with a team moniker, mainly to include [DC]Targa. Not only that, but I wanted to take into consideration teams that are being built up or ones who may have lost members but want to still recruit.

So for the Team Stats page, one-member teams show on the ranking list, but have no breakdown page - two or more members warrant the breakdown page, but the "lesser" teams pages do seem a bit spare, to say the least.

So, with all that said, I can still adjust the programming to only count teams with 2 or more or 3 or more, based on the results of this discussion, if desired. Just let me know.
